In addition to its regular work to stock the Kennesaw State food pantry, serve dinner to the women participating in The Extension's 12-step recovery program, and gathering for a social that featured Czechoslovakians cuisine, North Cobb Rotary's presence has been felt in several other ways:
The club welcomed the Serbian Rotary delegation to a morning meeting - Vladimir Matic, past DG of 2843 and Vladimir Lalosevic, DGE of 2843 shared the power of Inter Country Committees in Rotary for the application of Grant funds. This collaboration has provided over $776k to support students in Serbia. The power of Rotary at work. And, the Vlads brought gifts!
Rotarians supported Woodstock, GA's Forever Fed food pantry by collecting and distributing food to the community at the local Desktop Coffee Community Space.
The club partnered with youth at Deveraux, Kennesaw to commission a peace pole at Smith Gilber Gardens, continuing to spread peace and share the opportunity for conflict to come to an end through peace.
And of course, they came out in force for District 6900 Conference at Lake Lanier!
